Cloud9 return to form in the Mid-Season Showdown and edge out Team Liquid 3-2 to qualify for MSI 2021.

In the past year, Cloud9 has seen ups and downs as they won Spring in 2020 but failed to qualify for Worlds in the second half of the year. In the preseason, the team picked up superstar Luka “Perkz” Perković from G2 Esports and Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami to bolster their roster.

Cloud9 started the season only behind Team Liquid in the LCS Lock-In after going all the way to Game 5 in the Finals. In the regular season, they picked up the pace and finished 13-5 (W-L).
