Blacklist International, Work Auster Force, Execration, and Aura PH had big weeks, Bren continue to pick up steam, and the rest of the teams scrap it out for a playoffs spot.

Shining In The New Era

The new-look Blacklist International continued their dominance with another 2-0 week keeping them on top of the Group B leaderboard. Their “data-driven” approach to the game led by former captain and current analyst DEX STAR is key to their current 5-0 undefeated streak.

Meanwhile in the opposite group, Aura PH also won both their series this week, both against strong contenders in Onic PH and Omega Esports. They currently sit on top of their own group with a 4-1 record, their only loss coming from Blacklist International.

Putting In The Work

Work Auster Force, one of the two new teams this season, continuously prove that they can go toe-to-toe with the best of the best. They took down Onic PH and Cignal Ultra with impressive 2-0 outings. They took top team Blacklist to three games, joining Aura as the only other team to do so so far this season.

FEATURED STORIES

Execration also looked good this week, grabbing big wins this week against Nexplay and Laus Playbook Esports. The Nexplay match, which was the featured matchup of the week, attracted over 647,000 viewers across Facebook Gaming, YouTube, and TikTok.

Picking Up The Pace

After a rocky start, BREN Esports picked up the pace. A win against Execration in Week 2 and Cignal Ultra this week may be just what they needed to get back to their winning ways. The defending champions currently sit in 3rd place in their group, just below Work. They have to be wary though, with Onic right on their tails.

Catching Up

After missing the first two weeks due to health and safety concerns, Cignal Ultra had a busy week. Despite dropping all four matchups, they managed to pick up game wins over Bren and Nexplay. They’ll be looking to bounce back next week but it will be no easy task as they are set to face against top teams Blacklist, Aura, and Work.

Nexplay have also been struggling to find their footing, dropping to a 2-5 record. Despite two losses this week they still sit at 3rd in their group. With the schedule they have ahead (LPE, Omega, Aura), only time will tell if they can bring it together.

  • Onic PH 3-2
