A Force To Be Reckoned With
League freshmen Work Auster Force have already exceeded expectations after four weeks of play. After big wins against teams like Nexplay, Onic, and Aura, and putting up valiant efforts against Blacklist, Omega, and Bren, the rookies currently sit atop Group A with a 5-4 record. With jungler Shemaiah Daniel “Chuuu” Chu currently 2nd in the league in GPM (774) and 10th in KDA (4.44), and roamer Dylan Aaron “Unravel” Catipon and Frediemar “3MarTzy” Serafico having solid performances in Week 4, Work is more than ready to take on anyone in the playoffs.
The two-time champions Aura PH are right behind them though, with a solid 5-2 record of their own. Although they lost to Work this week, they did win their first meeting in Week 1, and a playoffs matchup could finally settle their score.
Lucky 7
Blacklist International continued their dominant season, remaining undefeated (7-0) after Week 4’s games. A close 2-1 against Omega Esports and a comeback victory against Cignal Ultra seemed to make the Tier One-owned team that much more prepared for any upcoming challenges as they close out the season.
All The Way Up
Bren Esports slowly but surely continue their journey back on top. With two strong 2-0 victories against Work Auster Force and Laus Playbook Esports, they seem to be gaining back their confidence and usual playstyle. Currently in the middle of the group with a 4-4 record, the defending champions look to make a stronger impression come playoffs.
Onic PH however are right on their tails with a 4-2 record, including a win over them this week. Another team looking to redeem themselves, could they make another trip to the Grand Finals this year and win it all?
