Bella Poarch, first Filipino featured in Fortnite emote

The Fortnite emote features background music from her debut single “Build a Bitch.” The music video of which has surpassed over 100 million YouTube views on its first month.
“Mainly it’s about accepting yourself and embracing imperfections and your flaws,” Poarch says about the song in an interview with Billboard. “My whole message with ‘Build a Bitch’ is that I want people to realize that you don’t have to be perfect.”

The Filipino-American TikToker-turned-musician will join other prominent online personalities in Fortnite’s emote list as Pokimane, Backpack Kid, and John Travolta.
Bella Poarch rose to viral status with the now-iconic TikTok of her lipsyncing to “Soph Aspin Send” by British rapper Millie B. The TikTok remains the most liked video on the platform with over 49 million likes.
