Pokémon Reveals Pokémon UNITE Release Date
The Pokémon Company revealed Pokémon UNITE’s release date yesterday, June 17, 2021, by releasing an official trailer of the game.
Initially revealed last year, the Pokémon-themed MOBA game is set to release on the Nintendo Switch this July. Meanwhile, the mobile version of the game is scheduled to be available starting in September.
It is confirmed that the game will feature cross-platform play between Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. Furthermore, users can log in using their respective Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Club accounts in order to use their own game data on any device.
So far, the confirmed characters for the game include Pikachu, Scorbunny, Fletchling, Absol, Lucario, Snorlax, Mr. Mime, Greninja, Machamp, Gengar, Blastoise, Venusaur, Slowbro, Gardevoir, Cramorant, Eldegoss, and Alolan Ninetales. The game can be played in different languages besides English such as French, Italian, German, or Spanish.
Pokémon UNITE is a multiplayer online battle arena game produced by The Pokémon Company and developed by TiMi Studios, the studio responsible for Honor of Kings, Arena of Valor, and Call of Duty: Mobile. The regional beta test was conducted in Canada last March 2020 and was only open to Android devices.
