Two out of the final six tickets to The International 10 have been taken by worthy teams SG e-sports of South America and the CIS region’s Team Spirit.

SG e-sports showed dominance in SA as they swept through the tournament from the Upper Bracket to the Grand Finals. They crushed Team Unknown in a convincing series 3-1 to join Beastcoast and Thunder Predator in representing the South American region in TI10.

Spotlights turned to the CIS region as household names like Danil “Dendi” Ishutin from Team B8 and newly-reformed Natus Vincere composed of big CIS names of Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko, Roman “Ramzes666” Kushnarev, and Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev all tried to get their hands on a ticket to TI. All of them failed.

It was Team Spirit who emerged victorious. They shrugged off their mediocre performance in the last Major and dominated the qualifiers without going down in the Lower Bracket. Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov and co. proved their mettle when they overcame Team Empire in a hard-fought, five-game series.

Four tickets are currently left to be claimed with the North American and Southeast Asian regions next in line with the TI Regional Qualifiers. The ruthless battle to the top will begin on June 30 and end on July 3, while the European and Chinese regions will have their tournaments last, beginning on the 7th of July until the 10th.
