ASUS TUF Gaming & AcadArena Launch First Collegiate Marketing Pitch Competition Concept for Esports in the Philippines
MANILA, Philippines – Asus TUF Gaming Peripherals, together with AcadArena Technologies Inc. launch “TUF ENOUGH: A Marketing Pitch Competition”, the first of its kind to bring esports in the Philippines to the classic collegiate marketing pitch competition.
G12 and Collegiate students from across the Philippines will be eligible to participate and submit their best video pitch and showcase their marketing prowess applied to the gaming and esports market.
“ASUS believes that every modern-day student and learner has become more resilient in these trying times”, says Florence Valiao, ASUS Philippines Marketing Manager. “To fully equip them in the days ahead, we want to engage with them in a way that will let them experience what it’s like marketing and telling standout stories about great products. We think that our series of TUF Gaming products perfectly matches who Filipino students are – durable, strong, and practical.”
Students will have until the 14th of July this year to submit their complete video pitch. Five finalists will be chosen to move on to the final pitch stage, where they will get the chance to work with a mentor of their choosing, upgrade their video pitch, and answer questions from a selected panel. The pitches and panel Q&A will take place via livestream on July 24, 2021 at the AcadArena and AsusPH Facebook pages.
Up for grabs are peripheral sets for finalists to use and upgrade their final pitch, the top 3 placers will also get more complete sets for each of their members. Finally, a PC set will also be awarded to a mentor chosen by the winning team.
“It always feels rewarding to mount these kinds of events for students that really embody our ‘not just play’ tagline”, shared AcadArena CEO Ariane Lim. “We need more brands like ASUS who believe in youth empowerment and AcadArena is here to deliver. If like-minded groups work together, everybody wins.”
