Pokémon Presents Releases New Details About 4th Gen Remake, Pokémon Legends: Arceus
The latest Pokémon Presents released new details of the remakes of the fourth-gen games, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Releasing on November 19, the remakes for both Diamond and Pearl are one of the most anticipated pokémon releases this year.
The games will feature revamped mechanics from the old games — such as the secret bases and pokémon contests. They will also feature new mechanics that weren’t present in the previous versions such as outfit customization, Poké Ball effects customization, and Pokémon Hideaways — a feature only unlockable by meeting certain conditions in your secret base and contains pokémon that can only be obtained there.
They also announced an exclusive Nintendo Switch Lite version that features Dialga and Palkia. It will be released on November 5, 2021.
Meanwhile, the most awaited open-world RPG of the pokémon franchise, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, is ought to release next year, January 28, 2022.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set in the Hisui Region (modern-day Sinnoh) and is during a time wherein it was rare for people and pokémon to live in harmony.
The game brings back the Poké Ball crafting mechanics while simultaneously introducing new mechanics in catching and battling. It also introduces new forms and evolution of pokémon such as Wyrdeer (a new evolution of Stantler), Basculegion (a new evolution of Basculin), Hisuian Braviary, and Hisuian Growlithe.
Meanwhile, the latest Pokémon Presents also brought updates to several of their existing games.
Pokémon Unite’s segment showcased new pokémon in the game, Mamoswine and Sylveon, and as well as rewards for reaching certain pre-registration milestones.
Pokémon Café Mix has been revamped into Pokémon Café Remix and introduced new puzzle elements, pokémon, and more.
Pokémon Masters EX is celebrating its 2-year anniversary by bringing in new updates such as the introduction of Dynamaxing in the game.
Lastly, Pokémon GO’s announcement was about the introduction of pokémon originally found in the Galar region such as Zacian and Zamazenta.
