Bren Esports: Champions of VCT SEA Stage 3 after Clean Sweep against Paper Rex
August 22 was eventful for Bren Esports, as they started the day with the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challenger Playoffs’ Lower Bracket Final – a best-of-three match against Alter Ego. Bren Esports ended up triumphant with a 2-0 final score, and booked their ticket to VCT Masters 3 Berlin.
Shortly after, Bren Esports’ grudge match against Paper Rex, the same team that sent them to the lower bracket only a couple of matches ago, began.
Bren and Paper Rex first met on Bind for this finals match, a map that would not go on without overtime. Bren Esports emerged victorious from the map, 16-14. The second round happened on Split, being a little bit shorter this time, with the final scoreline at 14-12 for Bren. The players then ride this momentum to conquer Icebox convincingly at 13-6.

VCT Masters 3 Berlin begins September 9, with both Bren Esports and Paper Rex as the representatives for SEA.
