SworDance Wins Initial The Aces Scargrounds Legends Of Runeterra Tournament
Luthor “SworDance” Wong won the initial The Aces Scargrounds Legends of Runeterra (LoR) tournament by Home of the Aces (HOTA) last August 28, 2021.

Facing his fellow clanmate in the grand finals, the Malaysian LoR player beat Kienxun in a mirror match that featured Poppy-Taric, Akshan-Sivir, and Sion-Draven decks.
“Felt happy and lucky since the final is a mirror match,” SworDance described winning the grand finals. “I discussed with my leader, Kienxun, to have a gentlemen’s agreement to ban the same deck so we have equal chances [in winning],” he revealed.
SworDance was able to take home 2000 LoR coins for winning the tournament, Kienxun with 1000 LoR coins, while third and fourth placers Miggy and ADELtrocity from Blacklist International both receive 500 coins each.
With HOTA featuring tons of prominent Southeast Asian LoR pros and amateurs, SworDance hopes that there would be more tournaments like this in the future.
