Pokémon Unite sets sail for mobile app stores today
Aeos Island opens its doors to mobile gamers as Pokémon Unite sets sail for app stores today.
Nintendo opened pre-registrations prior to the mobile launch which allowed players to sign up for in-game rewards like a free Pikachu Unite license and the Festival Style: Pikachu Holowear. To date, more than five million people have lined up to bag these freebies. With more goodies up for grabs, the game developers are to release a reward of 2,000 Aeos Tickets for all trainers on September 29 to celebrate the official mobile release and its 9 million downloads.
A teaser clip was also released earlier this morning which introduced several new features like a Battle Pass, and new customizations for profile cards and Pokemon skins. Mamoswine and Sylveon were also hinted to join the stage for future Unite battles.

The strategy game was initially released on the Nintendo Switch back in July, and currently supports cross-platform play on all compatible devices.
The MOBA can now be downloaded from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, although gameplay might have to wait until the servers go back online at 3 PM.
