Less than four days after Team Spirit lifted the Aegis of Champions in Bucharest, the post-TI10 shuffle officially begins.

Southeast Asia-based organization Fnatic has decided to part ways with midlaner Ng “ChYuan” Kee Chyuan and offlaner Yang “Deth” Wu Heng.

“Despite being first-timers [ChYuan and Deth] stood their ground and gave their all against the best teams in the world – right in the middle of Dota’s grandest stage,” said Fnatic on Facebook. “This TI10 run, despite being cut short, will still be a memorable one for us and we are glad that they were part of it.”

ChYuan joined Fnatic during the second half of the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit season while Deth was picked up at the start of the SEA TI10 qualifiers. Together with Marc Polo Luis “Raven” Fausto, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, Djardel Jicko “DJ” Mampusti, they finished 9th-12th place at The International.

Fnatic explained that ChYuan and Deth’s contracts ended after TI. As a result, they were free to explore their options for the upcoming season.

With Fnatic’s position 2 and 3 roles vacant, it’s worth noting that a number of Filipino stars are free agents: Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte, Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios, and Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr. are all still without a team.
