Pinoy Gaming Festival 2014 Comes to SM Megamall!
Pinoy Gaming Festival will once again grace the stage for game enthusiasts, fans and gamers alike.
This year’s event is now not just about gaming — it’s a combination of eSports, mobile games, arcade games, cosplay, anime, card games and toy collections!
The event is set to happen on Oct. 25-26, 2014 at SM Mega TradeHall and is organized by Philippine eSports Organization, Mineski Events Team and Otakuzine.
The games on-stage will be shoutcasted by the explosive casters, Dunoo, Lon and Tryke. Bianca Yao and the Natividad Sisters will be present too!
PGF announced the following games that will officially be part of this 2-day event:
Dota 2
Clash of Clans
NBA 2k14
Divosaga II
Boomz 3.4 New Era
For Dota 2, it will be the ESL Philippines Dota 2 Opening Series Grand Finals.
The eight teams that are determined are as follows:

SVentures Gaming
PowerPlay.TRIC

Survey Corps (will be replacing MSI-EvoGT)
Pacific 2 eSports
Mineski Dota 2
Evil Zebras (recent leg runner-up that will replace Interactive Philippines.Execration)
These teams will set foot onstage and will try to have a piece of the P75,000 prize pool and the bragging rights to become the first Philippine ESL Dota 2 champion.
Prize Pool Breakdown:
Champion: P40,000
2nd Place: P20,000
3rd Place: P10,000
4th Place: P5,000
In addition, the Mineski Pro Gaming League Wildcard winner will be decided on this day. The wildcard match gives teams who fell short in securing a spot for the finals a last chance to make it into the main event. After the wildcard online qualifiers, Pacific 2 Dota and Revitalize will face each other in the wildcard match, with the winner taking its place among the teams battling for the title.

It has also been announced that there will be a Dota 2 girls division, in which 10 teams are confirmed to compete.
For Clash of Clans, Philippine Clash of Clans Battleground is hosting ClashOut Rush Tournament, a one-of-a-kind tournament for CoC enthusiasts and fans alike. (Please click the link for tournament and registration details.)
For Love Live! School Idol Festival, a rhythm game that can be played both on iOS and Android, is the High Score and Max Combo Challenge.
Furthermore, eSports would not be complete without our very own arcade fighting games. Hotseat Gaming will be the one in charge of these tournaments.

eSports is extending its core, as not only video games are present in the festival, but trading card games (TCG) as well.

Demos and freeplay of these games are available for newbies and interested individuals too.
Aside from the different games that will be featured, a cosplay competition will take place during the event.

Toy figures display, maid cafe and different booths where you can buy and sell products and items are also available during the event.
The tickets are sold at P120 per day.
Tickets will be sold on-site. There will also be a pre-selling period (details to follow). The limited edition PGF Card Tickets will be sold to the first 300 people per day only, on a first come, first serve basis. The rest (301 and up) will get normal tickets.
