Legends of Runeterra Merges Asia and SEA Shards as One, Announces Asia-Pacific Shard
Legends of Runeterra (LoR) recently announced the merger between the Asia and SEA shards, combining them to become the Asia-Pacific Shard.
According to LoR’s blog updates, the merging between the two regions is set to happen on January 19 at 10:00 AM PT.
The countries included in the merging are as follows
- Bangladesh
- Brunei
- Cambodia
- Hong Kong
- Indonesia
- Japan
- Laos
- Macao
- Malaysia
- Mongolia
- Myanmar
- Myanmar [Burma]
- Nepal
- Philippines
- Republic of Korea
- Singapore
- Taiwan
- Thailand
- Vietnam
Here’s basically what the merging will do:
- Shortened queue times
- Player data between SEA and Asia regions will be stored together
- The Asia and SEA Seasonal Tournaments will be merged together into one single tournament (this will start on the Magic Misadventures Seasonal Tournament)
Meanwhile, players don’t need to worry about anything as the merging process is fully automated and prices will stay the same within their respective regions.
