Valorant Lore: Viper likes Adobo, apparently
Since receiving much-needed buffs to her kit last year, Viper has become a staple in the competitive ladder and a must-pick in specific maps in professional play. Even casual players have probably seen enough of her post-plant lineups and impenetrable walls of toxic gas.
Lore-wise, though, the things we know about Viper are few and far between: she used to go by Doctor Sabine and she has a complicated past with Sage and Omen. After some digging done on Valorant’s 4.02 Public Beta Environment (PBE), we can now add the fact that she likes Adobo to the list.
Valorant lore enthusiast Cynprel recently posted a video compiling new Agent voice lines from the PBE that featured interactions between the original cast and the Agents added after the game was released.

There’s Phoenix interacting with Chamber and Astra, although the two don’t seem to match his level of enthusiasm. Neon comes across as an angsty teenager to Raze and Killjoy but her tsundere facade cracks a teeny bit after receiving an unlikely compliment from Viper. Snake Lady likes Adobo, what a timeline we live in.
All jokes aside, the voice lines are welcome additions to the game that lessen the interaction disparity between older and newer agents.
As of this posting, there is still no official announcement on the release of patch 4.02.
