Filipinos dominate in week one of CODM Garena Masters
The Philippine teams participating in Garena Masters showed who’s boss and provided a masterclass of a performance as they dominated their opposition in the recently concluded week 1 of matches last February 18.
Blacklist International Ultimate, Smart Omega, and M420 LowKings all finished at the top of their respective groups by sporting clean 3-0 records after dispatching their opponents from Singapore and Malaysia in the regional meet.

Reigning East CODM World Champions Blacklist led the way for the Filipinos as they hardly broke a sweat in all 3 of their matches in Group D, winning all of them convincingly, world champions style. Smart Omega on the other hand looks rejuvenated and are on their way back to regain their old form after winning all three of their matches as well in Group C.
Perhaps the most surprising team out of the three was M420 LowKings in Group B, who also finished on top of their group by beating heavily favored and invited team SEM9 of Malaysia as well as fellow Philippine team VVV Esports en route to a 3-0 record.

Only the top 2 teams from each group can proceed to the playoffs after duking it out on a double-round robin format in the group stages.
