#FilipinoSupremacy: PH reps secure 6 of 8 playoff spots in CODM Garena Masters
Six (6) Philippine teams have officially clinched their playoff spots in the CODM Garena Masters after all of their respective group stage matches have been played out.
Blacklist International Ultimate, Smart Omega, M420 LowKings, C8 United, Aguila Esports, and C8 Legacy have all qualified to secure the Philippines 6 playoff slots out of 8 in the regional meet alongside teams from Malaysia and Singapore.

Fellow Philippine teams Tyrant Finesse and VVV Esports put up a gallant stand but were eventually ousted by Singapore champs ALMGHTY and Malaysia champs SEM9.
CODM Eastern World Champion and Blacklist International Ultimate team owner Matt Gloria shared his thoughts about the quality of play and competition in the country as well as the opportunities for pro players nowadays.
“Having 6 PH teams in the playoffs is a really great opportunity for the esports scene in the country. This merely shows that Filipinos are capable of showing their talents internationally and showing even greater competitive attitudes. I am more than excited to see my former players, now playing for different teams, go against my own boys. These rising amateur teams are truly exciting to watch since majority of them are in the 15-17 yr old range and these kids are showing off their amazing skills in esports.”
The tournament, which has an official prize pool of 25,000 USD, will have its playoffs on March 12-13. All games can be watched live on Garena CODM’s Facebook and YouTube channel respectively from 3 pm onwards.
