Report: Ultimate Divinus qualifies as PH representative for CODM Garena Invitational Ladies 2022
Ultimate Esports’ women’s CODM team Ultimate Divinus will represent the Philippines in the upcoming CODM Garena Invitational (CGI) Ladies 2022.
Facebook posts from players and its admin alike confirmed the news after the team’s victory in an offline matchup. Garena organized the qualifying matches, pitting the best women’s teams in the country. Ultimate Divinus both defeated Tyrant LXIX, reigning Valkyrie Series Champions, as well as C8 One (former Nifty Ultra Esports). They won 3-1 and 3-2, respectively, to earn the chance to represent the Philippines. Ultimate Divinus will face the best women’s teams from different countries in the regional meet.

Ultimate Esports will now have 2 teams competing in the upcoming CGI. CODM Eastern World Champions Blacklist International Ultimate, the organization’s men’s team, will also grace the tournament in the men’s division. Sofia Nocon, Ultimate Esports co-owner expresses this opportunity as one of the proudest moments of herself and the organization.
“Having both of our teams at Ultimate Esports to represent the Philippines for the upcoming CGI 2022 is one of my proudest moments. As the team owner of Ultimate Divinus, I know how hard these girls worked for this title,” she shared.
“One thing that keeps our two teams similar is how they both started as the ‘underdogs’ and worked their way up. Other than skills, they have developed the right values and characteristics that form a true Professional Esports player. Both teams have gone through many happy and sad moments, yet they look into both situations as something to celebrate about. Despite the difficult circumstances, they strive to be the best and still show grace,” she said in an ending statement.
