For Game 1 on Icebox, South Built won the game with a score of 13-9. Despite trailing in the first half, South Built played like a rejuvenated side in second half as they only allowed Oblivion Force to get two rounds.
With the momentum strong on their side, South Built closed out the series on Ascent as they finished Game 2 13-10. South Built finished the first half with four more rounds than Oblivion Force, 8-4, and looked poised to take the series. However, the second half became dangerously close as it went back and forth before South Built ultimately secured the victory.
As they live another day, South Built Esports is currently waiting on Group D for the Decider Match in order to get into the playoffs. They will be facing the loser between FULL SENSE versus Velocity Gaming.
