Omega came out on top of Game 1 in a matchup that could’ve easily gone to either team. Both teams bared their fangs against each other as they pulled off swift kills, objective takes, and Retribution battles. Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog’s performance on Khufra was the difference and was awarded game MVP with a 69% kill participation and a 0/2/9 KDA.
Barangay Omega capitalized on their momentum by taking Game 2 in a more convincing manner. Their massive outplays against ONIC were only made possible through their flawless executions and mechanical superiority in the contest. Ch4knu was the MVP yet again, this time on Franco whose hooks took ONIC players out of the equation one by one.
With their sights deadlocked on a victory sweep, Omega didn’t hesitate to finish the series in Game 3. ONIC tried to change up their composition but Omega simply outplayed them. It was clear that Omega’s poison affected their opponent’s performance as ONIC seemed off their game. Grant “Kelra” Duane Pillas was the game MVP this time as he easily recorded an impressive 11/2/1 KDA.
The current reigning MSC champions are set to move up to the lower bracket finals where they will be facing the loser of the TNC versus RSG PH series.
