Apex Legends Mobile drops globally today
Apex Legends Mobile drops on Android and iOS devices globally today, May 17, 2022, 8:00 am PHT.
The popular PC hero shooter and battle royale by Respawn Entertainment is finally being released and made available to all players after its initial tease last week.
This comes full circle from the game’s first announcement about a year ago and two months of playtesting on a soft launch in selected regions including the Philippines.
With the global release of Apex Legends Mobile, players can expect the release of an all-new mobile-exclusive legend named “Fade”.

Nicknamed the Phasing Punisher, whose voice lines include “Life takes, I take back”, Fade will have the following abilities:

Passive Ability – Slipstream
- This will gives Fade a movement speed boost at the end of a slide

Tactical Ability- Flashback
- This lets Fade rewind back in time and goes back to where he was a while ago for about 2 seconds.

Ultimate-Phase Chamber
- This gives Fade the power to release a phase cage to send all other enemy Legends within range into ‘the Void’.
Aside from the release of Fade, other things players can access made for mobile-only include a new multiplayer mode Team Deathmatch as well as new firing range features.
