Yelan and Kuki Shinobu Finally Arrive in Genshin Impact 2.7
The Genshin Impact Version 2.7 Special Livestream just concluded, and the much awaited 5 star Hydro archer Yelan is finally coming. But wait, there’s more! Yelan isn’t the only new character that Version 2.7 will introduce, as Kuki Shinobu will also be making her entrance this patch. Kuki Shinobu, a 4* Electro Sword, will be the first healer holding an Electro vision.

The main highlight of this patch, is the release of two new playable characters: Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. When will they be available you ask? Here’s the Character Banner schedule for Genshin Impact Version 2.7:

Yelan and Xiao’s banners will run simultaneously during Phase 1, while Arataki Itto will have his banner run solo with the addition of Kuki Shinobu as a featured 4 star.
Travelers will get to know more about Yelan in her Story Quest, and feel closer to Kuki Shinobu in her Hangout Event.

The mysteries of The Chasm will continue to unfold in the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter that will involve Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, among many others.

Of course, it isn’t a new Version without new events! The biggest event in Version 2.7 is called Perilous Trail, and will reward players who participate a free 4 star Bow, Fading Twilight. Free weapon aside, by playing the new combat challenge “Realms of Guile and War,” Travelers can obtain Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and many more!

Another event in Version 2.7 is “A Muddy Bizarre Adventure,” where the Traveler investigates a dark, mud-like substance seeping out from within The Chasm with the aid of a Sumeru scholar named Hosseini. Meanwhile in Inazuma, the Irodori Festival might be over, but the fun goes on! Arataki Itto invited his friends to join “The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival” which will test the player’s sense of rhythm. The final event “Core of the Apparatus” will see the Traveler help a toy merchant from Fontaine to create… robots? As a reward, Travelers will receive robotic furnishings for the Serenitea Pot!
Speaking of the Serenitea Pot, maintenance on its Placecment function will also conclude once the update goes live, so you can go back to customizing your Realm as you wish.

More optimizations and Quality of Life changes also come with this update. This includes a feature which tells you which Main Attribute players prefer on an Artifact for a specific character, as well as how they prioritized their Talent Progression.

Domains will also have “Challenge Features,” which serves as a guide on which characters will make the best use of the Ley Line Overflow within that domain.
Genshin Impact 2.7 is expected to go live on May 31, 2022 10am PH time.
