Team Secret Gets Past ONIC G at VCT 2022 Stage 2 APAC Playoffs
Team Secret got past ONIC G after sweeping them 2-0 at the VALORANT Challengers Tour (VCT) 2022 APAC Stage 2 Playoffs.

Great Start On Icebox
Team Secret had a great start on the series as they quickly took Icebox 13-8.
Team Secret initially lost the first two rounds before they recouped and went on a 5-round win streak themselves. It was Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco’s mighty anchoring at the A Site that gave Team Secret the edge to end the first half 8-4 in their favor. After that, Team Secret faltered for a bit as they lost the first four rounds of the second half and took their time to adjust to ONIC’s defense. After ONIC’s 4-round win streak, Team Secret simply cruised to the finish line in just five straight rounds to win the game. This time, Riley “Witz” Go’s Chamber was instrumental to their attack as he led the team with 12 kills and 1 assist.
Finishing The Series On Breeze
With the goddess of victory smiling upon them, Team Secret finished the series on Breeze with a similar scoreline as the first game 13-8.
Just like yesterday, Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera was brought in for Breeze and once again did not disappoint. Jremy dismantled ONIC’s defense with his crispy aim as he ended up with an impressive 16/7/2 KDA. Meanwhile, Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza’s Viper utility usage was enough to disrupt ONIC’s defense and secure a 14/7/2 KDA for himself. The second half became a scrappy one after ONIC capitalized on their Bonus Round win. Thankfully, Team Secret remained composed and ended the game at Round 21 before things got out of hand.
With this win, Team Secret continues their upper bracket conquest at the VCT 2022 APAC Stage 2 Playoffs. They will be facing Paper Rex in the upper bracket finals for the chance to be the first team that goes into the grand finals of the tournament.
