Smart Omega, Ultimate Divinus crowned champions in Indonesia’s DGWIB tournament
Philippines’ Smart Omega and Ultimate Divinus conquered their respective divisions and were crowned champions in DG: Waktu Indonesia Bermain (DGWIB) last night, June 24.
Smart Omega bested fellow Filipino team Mamba LowKings 3-2 after five grueling games. The Garena Masters II champions lost games 1 and 3 in Hardpoint at Firing Range (79-250) and in Control at Summit (1-3), respectively, but won games 2, 4, and 5 in Search and Destroy at Takeoff (13-11), Hardpoint at Raid (250-233) and Search and Destroy at Summit (7-4) to win the men’s division.

On the other hand, Ultimate Divinus overwhelmed hometown favorites Avere Fede 3-0 after scoring wins in Hardpoint at Slums (250-175), Search and Destroy at Raid (9-7) and Control at Takeoff (3-0) in the women’s division of the Indonesian tournament.

Jerrold “Woopiiee” Regay of Smart Omega and Angel “Aurora” Aquino of Ultimate Divinus won Soldier of the Game for their efforts in the grand finals.
