Southeast Asian Dota 2 team Fnatic is down to just having two players from their main squad for the Arlington Major. Djardel “DJ” Mampusti and Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong will be flying to the Unites  States while the rest of the team will sit out the tournament as they were unable to secure their US visas in time.

“DOTA Update: Due to difficulties in obtaining US visas, we will be participating at the PGL Arlington Major with 3 substitutes,” Fnatic said on their Twitter post. “Our PGL Arlington roster will be comprised of DJ and Jabz with three substitutes to be announced soon.”

This sudden change in roster might severely affect their hopes of performing well in the Arlington Major, with only a few days left to practice with the substitute players they will be bringing in.

Fnatic team director Pao Bago teased that two out of the three substitutes have already confirmed. He hints at this in a recent tweet, saying, “2/3. Waiting on 1.”

The PGL Arlington Major will run from Aug. 4 – 14, featuring 18 teams from all over the world. This includes SEA teams such as Fnatic, BOOM Esports, and Talon Esports.
