Eight Playoff Teams Set for Garena Masters III Offline LAN Event
Eight playoff teams from the SMP region (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines) that have successfully qualified and booked a slot in the playoffs after 10 group stage game dates are locked and loaded for the Garena Masters III playoff stage.
Singapore’s ALMGHTY, Malaysia’s Huntsmen, and the Philippines’ WPM LowKings, Smart Omega, Blacklist International Ultimate, RTL Esports, VVV Esports, and C8 Legacy are set to engage in Garena CODM’s first offline LAN event in two years at Newport World Resorts – Manila Ballroom, Marriott Hotel.
The teams qualified courtesy of a top two finish from their respective groups (Group A – ALMGHTY, C8 Legacy; Group B – WPM LowKings, Huntsmen; Group C – Smart Omega, RTL Esports; Group D – Blacklist International Ultimate, VVV Esports). They will all be playing for a share of the 25,000 USD (approximately 1.4 million PHP) and a slot at Garena Regional Qualifiers, the stage 4 of the CODM World Championship 2022.
The tournament, which will feature a best-of-five double elimination format, will run through three days starting August 12 (Friday) until August 14 (Sunday). Match schedules within the day are as follows:
○Day 1
○ 1pm – 9pm: Winner Bracket Quarter-Final Matches
○ 9pm – 11pm: Loser Bracket Match
○ Day 2
○ 1pm – 3pm: Loser Bracket Match
○ 3pm – 7pm: Winner Bracket Semi-Final Matches
○ 7pm – 11pm: Loser Bracket Round 2 Matches
○ Day 3
○ 1pm – 3pm: 4th Place Match
○ 3pm – 5pm: Winner Bracket Final Match
○ 5pm – 7pm: 3rd Place Match
○ 7pm – 9pm: Grand Finals
○ 9pm – 11pm: Grand Finals
