T1 bids farewell to Gabbi, Karl two months before TI11
Southeast Asian Dota 2 team T1 is eyeing last-minute changes in their roster as they bid farewell to two Filipino players, Karl Matthew Baldovino and Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte Santos.

The news comes after the South Korean organization’s SEA-based Dota 2 roster failed to secure a spot in the Arlington Major and placed 4th in the ESL One Malaysia 2022 Southeast Asia Closed Qualifiers.
Karl joined the team on October 29, 2020, while Gabbi joined on February 20, 2022. The team had consistently placed high in regional tournaments with Karl and Gabbi on the roster, with the Stockholm Major being their only sub-top 5 finish.
With no more chance to qualify for The International 11 via DPC points, T1’s last hope lies in the last chance qualifiers which start on October 8.
As of writing, there are no updates from T1 regarding the replacements for Karl and Gabbi.
