Fnatic secure Top 4 spot after beating Entity in ESL Malaysia
Southeast Asian Dota 2 team Fnatic secure the Top 4 spot for the ESL One Malaysia Closed Qualifier after beating team Entity. Fnatic beat Team Entity in a reverse sweep of 2-1, with the SEA team taking control of the last two games in a BO3 lower bracket quarterfinals match.
Fnatic won the two games by leading with the same lineup of Batrider, Undying, Nyx Assassin, Razor, and Alchemist. The team rampaged their way to victory with the help of Djardel “DJ” Mampusti’s stunning plays and well-thought positioning.
The team beat EU team Entity, whose player, Dzmitry “Fishman” Palischuk went viral in a pre-match “face-off” against Team SoloMid player Jonas “SabeRLight-” Volek. Entity would then go on and win the series against TSM 2-0 and advance to the lower bracket quarterfinals, where they would then face the SEA team.
