By far the biggest announcement at the latest Nintendo Direct was Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a direct sequel to the much-beloved Breath of the Wild. The trailer featured Link exploring Hyrule (that looks to be shattered) from both the land and sky parts of the game, and as well as giving us a look at the mechanics included in the game (such as riding a stone bird and a new stasis power).

Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12, 2023. For future updates about the game, you can visit the game’s official website here.

Fire Emblem Engage is the newest entry to the 32-year-old franchise. Engage is set a thousand years after the ‘Fell Dragon’ was sealed away by four kingdoms and will follow Alear, a Divine Dragon that’s part of a royal family that was once considered deities. Other Fire Emblem characters, such as Marth and Celica, also return and can be added to the player’s party.
