Right from the start, LOUD’s brute force captured the first two rounds of the game but was immediately snuffed out by OpTic with a six-round win streak. LOUD’s bane during those rounds was OpTic’s Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen who repeatedly backlined them. LOUD then lessened the gap by winning three out of the four last rounds of the half to make it into halftime with only a two-round deficit, 7-5.
After halftime, OpTic had a peculiar choice to call for a timeout prior to Round 13’s start which led to LOUD losing the first two rounds of the second half. Thankfully, they bounced back with a three-round win streak which was then answered by OpTic with their own three-round win streak to reach match point. After that salvo, LOUD forced overtime through a four-round win streak led by Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and his trusty Odin.
In overtime, both teams won their respective attacking sides which forced a second overtime. Fortunately, LOUD finished off the game at the second overtime to win the first game of the series 15-13.
Silenced By OpTic
After that win, LOUD and its fans were then silenced by OpTic on Bind as the Brazilians lost 13-6.

LOUD was simply obliterated in this map by OpTic. LOUD lost the opening round which led to a force buy at Round 2. Armed with their signature Stingers, LOUD still lost the round which wrecked their economy enough for OpTic to capitalize on it for a four-round win streak. After that, LOUD tried to pick up the pieces and managed to snag two rounds for themselves on Rounds 5 and 6. However, that would turn out to be their only win for the first half as OpTic continued to dominate in Bind with a six-round whooping to end the half at 10-2.

In the second half, LOUD came back to life to secure a four-round win streak, with Erick “aspas” Santos securing a 1-versus-3 clutch against OpTic in Round 16. After that massive clutch from Aspas, OpTic then called for a technical pause which was then revealed to be caused by a windows update notification from OpTic’s Pujan “FNS” Mehta’s pc. Intentional or not, the OpTech extinguished LOUD’s momentum as they eventually lost in three rounds.
LOUD Becomes Champions
With the series tied, LOUD quickly wrapped up the night as they took the next two maps to become champions.

In Game 3, LOUD took Breeze to overtime where they eventually won it 16-14.
Reeling from the Bind loss, LOUD lost the first four rounds of the game. However, LOUD was able to tie the half 6-6 thanks to Bryan “pancada” Luna’s multi-round heroics. After halftime, LOUD was able to convert the pistol-round win into a two-round win streak which was then replied by OpTic with a two-round win streak of their own. From there, a back-and-forth fiasco erupted with OpTic breaking free from the trend with another two-round win streak. With their backs against the wall, LOUD forced overtime by winning Round 24.
In overtime, both teams plastered incredible gameplay from both sides of the map. Fortunately, LOUD came out the victor as they won the third and last overtime.

With only one map away from being crowned the champions, LOUD grabbed the win with a convincing victory on Haven 13-5.
LOUD started their winning conquest on Haven with a retake win on the opening pistol round which translated to a three-round win streak. Thanks to their methodical retakes, LOUD finished the first half on the lead 7-5.

High on confidence, LOUD gave OpTic no mercy come the second half as they easily swept their way to get the win which was highlighted by an ace from LOUD’s Felipe “Less” de Loyola on Round 15.
With their 3-1 win against OpTic, LOUD was crowned as the VALORANT Champions 2022 champion and took home Brazil’s first international LAN win along with a USD $300,000 prize.
