We might be getting a Philippines x Indonesia team up in VALORANT next year.

Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ), who has been competing in the Philippines for almost a year now, teased its tryout pool for its VALORANT roster’s new iteration for next year’s VCT Pacific League.

RRQ’s list of Filipino players includes their current all-Filipino roster (who were recently crowned the Predator League 2022 – Philippines VALORANT champions) and former Bren Esports player Eroll Jule “EJAY” Delfin.

Meanwhile, their Indonesian batch of the tryouts includes notable Indonesian free agents in ONIC G’s trio of Hagai Kristen “Lmemore” Yesyurun, Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha, and Michael “severiNe” Winata and BOOM’s own trio of Gary “blaZek1ng” Dastin, Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmad, and David “Tehbotol” Monangin.

This tryout just came after rumors of RRQ possibly releasing their current roster in favor of an Indonesian squad sparked after the organization deleted a tweet wherein they tagged the all-Filipino squad after Riot’s partnership teams were announced.

Meanwhile, RRQ also bolstered their support team as they also picked up ONIC G’s former coach Martin “Ewok” just recently to help boost their incoming roster.

As of this moment, there is no news yet on when RRQ will be doing its tryouts and how many of each nationality will be fielded for their Pacific League roster.
