DLSU dismantles UST to open Alliance Games’ CODM Split 2 Group Stage
Defending champions Viridis Arcus of DLSU is off to a good start in the Alliance Games’ CODM Split 2 group stage after dismantling Teletigers Esports of UST last weekend.
Viridis Arcus cruised to an easy victory over the Teletigers by winning Hardpoint at Summit 250-100, Search and Destroy at Firing Range 7-0, and Control at Summit 3-0.
The 9-time AcadArena CODM champions from DLSU are looking for their 10th straight title this season, extending a league-wide dominance in the game title. And if their first game is any indication of that goal, Viridis Arcus is on the right track.
On the other hand, other match results from the games last weekend include:
- Far Eastern University’s Tamaraws FX vs National University-Fairview’s Enflame (3-0)
- FEU’s TFX also won handily against NU’s Enflame, winning in Hardpoint at Firing Range 250-221, Search and Destroy at Summit 7-3, and Control at Raid 3-1.
- Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ Pylon Cratus vs College of Saint Benilde’s Romancon Gaming (0-3)
- CSB’s Romancon Gaming completed the sweep of the matches of the day after dominating PUP’s Pylon Cratus in Hardpoint at Summit 95-250, Search and Destroy at Standoff 4-7, and Control at Raid 2-3.
