TWICE’s Chaeyoung says Wild Rift is “Awesome”
K-Pop star and member of nine-piece group TWICE Son Chaeyoung confirmed that she plays League of Legends: Wild Rift. In a recent question-and-answer session on the Korean idol’s Instagram page, she was asked what game she plays when bored. Chaeyoung answered with, “Wild Rift is awesome!” while attaching photos of the champions Jhin and Jinx in her story reply.
Fans flocked to Twitter as soon as the news broke out. Several fans of the idol and the K-pop group TWICE, called “Onces”, said they would download the game just because Chaeyoung plays it.

In 2020, four of TWICE’s members lent their voices to the fictional K-Pop group K/DA in the song “I’ll Show You”. Park Jihyo, Son Chaeyoung, Minatozaki Sana, and Im Naeyon sang the song with Bekuh BOOM and Annika Wells.
Son Chaeyoung is a member of the K-Pop idol group TWICE, under the management of JYP Entertainment. She plays the role of the group’s main rapper and visual (although, you could argue that they’re all main visuals).
