Hearthstone Now Available on Android Devices
Update: As of Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, Hearthstone for Android devices is now available globally!
In an announcement made by Blizzard, digital collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now available on Android tablets.
The initial roll out of Hearthstone for Android is available for the following regions: Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Players of the popular game can expect the game to be available on mobile devices worldwide in the next few days.
Players will get a free classic pack if they download the Android version of Hearthstone via the Google Play store. In the same announcement, Blizzard said that the game will be available on the Amazon Appstore for Android for its worldwide release.
The Android tablet version of Hearthstone requires a mobile device with a screen of 6-inch or larger, Android OS of 4.0 or later and a system memory of at least 1 GB RAM.
On the Blizzard site, the company released a list of compatible Android devices. These include:
