The series started well for the Orcas as they took Game 1 via a comeback. ONIC Indonesia got the early game thanks to Kairi’s early pickoffs but ECHO took their time to scale up for the late game. As such, game MVP Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya’s Joy eventually became a monster in the late game as he could perform 1-versus-5s and pester the backline of ONIC, giving the rest of the ECHO squad the chance to punish their opponents for the early beat up they received.

Unfortunately, ECHO would receive a Game 2 loss as eventual game MVP Kairi’s Hayabusa became too much of a problem, escaping from the Orcas whenever he’s chased only for him to return for backstabs. Furthermore, Calvin “CW” Winata’s Moskov made it tricky for ECHO to deal with the marksman during clashes, especially given how the hero received a penetration buff on his passive in the last patch.
Thankfully, ECHO was able to bounce back immediately and took Game 3 in a very swift fashion. They were able to overcome Kairi on Barats — a hero that, prior to the game’s outcome, had a 100% win rate whenever it was picked during M4. ECHO went on a killing spree to end the game 20-9 in just almost twelve minutes of action.
Leading the series 2-1, ECHO managed to close it out in Game 4. In the game that lasted for twenty-one minutes, ECHO showed their full strength as they took more kills and objectives from ONIC Indonesia during the game. Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales took home the game MVP honors as he outdamaged everyone on Beatrix and recorded an impressive 11/2/8 KDA on a 76.3% KDA.
With this series win, ECHO books an MPL-PH rematch with Blacklist International in the upper bracket finals in M4.
