The 2023 CODM Esports Season is about to kick off with the Garena Masters 4 (GM4) set to begin this weekend, February 4.
Titled Resurgence: Arise and Conquer, the tournament will once again showcase the best CODM teams from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
GM4 will run through every weekend starting today, February 4 until it reaches its end on March 26. It will kick off with a qualifier round and subsequently be followed by four group-stage weeks. It will culminate in a two-week, two-day playoff to determine the winner.
Out of all the teams that participated in the qualifiers, only 13 will proceed to the group stage. These 13 teams, plus the 3 invited teams will then be grouped into 4 for the group stages. Games will be played in a double round-robin format with 3 maps per matchup. 8 teams will advance to the playoffs which will be played in a double elimination, best of 5 series. Lastly, the Grand Final will be a best-of-7.
The total prize pool for Garena Masters 4 is slated to be 26,500 USD or approximately 1.5 million pesos plus 360,000 CP. The champion is slated to get the lion’s share of 10,000 USD (approx. 550,000 pesos).
