After much deliberation, the MPL PH Press Corps Awards Night granted accolades to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines’ best and brightest. Here are the winners:

SMART Match of the Year

  • Blacklist International vs Bren Esports MPL-PH S10 Upper Bracket Semis

These two teams showed game knowledge and mechanical prowess in this series. After going the whole 5-game distance, Blacklist International claimed the victory including a swift 10-minute win. BLCK went on to become the season champions.

The Purple Orcas turned the tides against Bren Esports, ultimately leading up to a 2-0 win. This was not a one-time display from ECHO, but a testament to their resilience at the brink of defeat. ECHO may have fallen to Blacklist in the S10 finals, but they would reach greater heights – the M4 World Championship.

ECHO’s Mitch Liwanag has been a beacon of hope for the Orcas, providing them support when they needed it the most. She got the squad through disappointments and celebrated with them in their victories.

Razer Gold Breakout Player of the Year

  • Sanford “SanFord” Vinuya

The 17-year-old fought for his starting spot in Season 10 and went on to perform his best both on the local and international stage.

Razer Gold Comeback Player of the Year

  • Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna

Now a household name in professional ML:BB, OhMyV33nus pilots her team and authors new strategies to keep her place as the queen of MPL. After taking Season 9 off, she and Blacklist went on to claim their third title in four seasons.

Smart Coach of the Year

  • Brian “Panda” Lim

Coach Panda not only instilled the right lessons in RSG, but he also touched their lives and taught them values useful both inside and outside of the game. He maneuvered RSG through their wins and helped them get back up after their losses.

Smart Rookie of the Year

  • Alston “Sanji” Pabico

Sanji filled the shoes of Jankurt “KurTzy” Matira exceptionally well in Season 10, fully embracing the spotlight and making his mark on the big stage. Sanji went from rookie to playing a key role in ECHO’s M4 win.

  • Edward “Edward” Dapadap
  • Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales
  • Alston “Sanji” Pabico
  • Dylan “Light” Catipon
  • Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno

KarlTzy, Sanji, and Bennyqt, as part of the M4 World Champions, are joined by Light and Edward for the All MPL PH Team. These players were deemed the best in their respective roles and will comprise the very first All MPL PH Team.

Smart Player of the Year

  • Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno

KarlTzy showed his prowess and consistency over the years, and is the only two-time M World Championship Winner. Thus, he was declared the Player of the Year by the MPL PH Press Corps.
