NAOS disassembles their Ascension-qualifying roster

Shocking news befell Filipino VALORANT fans as NAOS disassembled their Ascension-qualifying roster by letting go of three of their players and their sole analyst from the team.

The three players that were let go were none other than Noel “NDG” de Guia, Jerome “Mojer” Literal, and Carl “SenyorCarL” Carandang. Their one and only analyst in NAOS, Lowell “Ell” Marcelo, was also released from the organization.

The announcement was revealed just mere weeks after NAOS had a semifinal finish during the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023 Pacific: Ascension wherein they lost against the eventual first runner-up SCARZ.

This also came just several days after NAOS nuked their content creator lineup which included Riley “Witz” Go’s girlfriend Een Mercado.

After the announcement was posted, the remaining players from NAOS took to their own social media accounts to show their appreciation towards their former teammates.

“We went through hard times, but these guys didn’t give up. Mamimiss ko kayo boys,” Witz shared on his socials.

“Mamimiss kita [SenyorCarL], pinaka clingy na naging ka team ko (I will miss you SenyorCarL, the clingiest teammate ever),” Johnty “JA” Arone got sentimental as he posted pictures of him alongside SenyorCarL on his Facebook profile.

Speaking of SenyorCarL, the former NAOS all-arounder described his time with NAOS as “shortlived but the most educating 4 months” of his life in esports.

Meanwhile, NDG shared on his profile that he is grateful to NAOS and plans to continue competing. “I’m not done and I’ll be back,” NDG declared.

With the majority of their VALORANT squad now gone, NAOS is left with the following people on its roster:
