MOONTON Games reveal M5 World Championship Venues and Schedule
In a joint press conference at the EVM Convention Center in Quezon City last October 25th, 2023, MOONTON Games and the Department of Tourism revealed the venues and schedule of the upcoming M5 World Championship this year.
M5 World Championship Locations and Dates
The tournament will begin with the first-ever Wild Card stage which will take place in JIO Space, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from November 23rd to 26th, 2023.

This Wild Card stage will involve eight teams from eight separate regions including KeepBest Gaming, representing China in the region’s first international MLBB tournament appearance.
The main stage of M5 will be kicked off by the Group Stage and the first phase of the Knockout Stage at the EVM Convention Center, Manila, Philippines beginning from December 2nd to 13th, 2023.
The rest of the tournament, including the Grand Finals and the award ceremony, will happen at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, Manila, Philippines from December 15th to 17th, 2023.
M5 Competitors
The teams already qualified for the international tournament are ONIC Esports, Geek Fam ID from MPL ID, RRQ Akira, Bigetron Sons, HomeBois, Team Flash, See You Soon, Triple Esports, Deus Vult, Fire Flux Esports, TheOhioBrothers, and Burmese Ghouls.
Philippine representatives will be decided by the ongoing MPL-PH Season 12 playoffs.

Early Bird ticket sales for the main stage are now available until November 3rd. Regular tickets begin sale on November 4th onward. “PH Super Pass” and “MVP Pass” tickets were also available to the public, but quickly sold out within hours of its announcement. These premium tickets entitle the holders to limited merchandise, a priority queue for meet-and-greets, and more.
MOONTON Games and the Department of Tourism signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the M5 World Championship, hoping to deliver a great experience to all MPL fans coming to the country for the international event.
