Riot Games to raise prices of RP, VALORANT Points in PH servers
Riot Games, developer and publisher of League of Legends, VALORANT, and other global titles, announced that they will be adjusting the prices of their premium currency across all of their titles.
Every Riot title, except Wild Rift, will increase the price of premium currency on Philippine servers starting September 18. Special bundles that offer more currency for the current price will be available in-client before the adjustments go live.
The price hikes for each game are as follows:
- League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics (RP) – 40%
- VALORANT (VP) – 7%
- League of Legends: Wild Rift (Wild Cores) – No change
- Legends of Runeterra (LoR Coins) – 7%
Riot cites that the adjustments are “necessary to combat the manipulation we’re seeing in the system and to ensure that everyone is playing on a level field.”

“Our hope is that by balancing currency values more consistently across regions, we can reduce the opportunities for exploitation and maintain fairness for everyone,” Riot says.
