‘Respetuhin niyo kami’: MLBB caster Chantelle sounds alarm over AI-generated deepfake
Esports caster Chantelle Hernandez has cried foul over AI-generated deepfake photos featuring her.
In a Facebook post, Chantelle said she received a message warning her over the matter. She clarified that the photo was not true.
“Received an alarming message with an AI-generated image that looks like a nude photo of me and even had the nerve to put my socmed handle—HINDI PO ITO TOTOO!”
She went on to add: “Respetuhin niyo naman kaming mga babae sa esports. Every gamer, regardless of gender, should be able to enjoy and thrive in the esports scene without facing discrimination or harassment.”
Chantelle shared that she felt alarmed over the photo, adding that the incident led her to sleepless nights.
“With this fake nude photo, I can’t sleep. I feel like people are looking at me differently, like I’m being judged, like I’m being stripped of my dignity. I can’t sleep just thinking that it is being spread around, maybe even profited from,” she said.

Calling on the perpetrator, she added: “Kung sino ka man, may God bless your soul. Prayers ang kailangan mo.”
In response to a comment from Sibol team manager Jab Escutin, Chantelle said the perpetrator’s identity remains unknown.
With the photo, she also appealed to the public for help reporting the deepfake.
“And if ever man may makaencounter or nakaencounter nitong fake photo of me. Please please pakisend po sakin ng screenshot kung saan niyo nakuha and report it ASAP. I need your help,” she appealed.
