DAC SEA Qualifiers Day 2: The Philippine Journey
This is the second day of the Dota 2 Asian Championship SEA Qualifiers and Mineski-Dota, the only Filipino team, duking it out in the qualifiers of the event, continues to face some of the strongest Chinese and Southeast Asian (SEA) teams in the Dota 2 scene for a chance to get a slot at the main event in Shanghai, China this coming Jan.29.
Their first match of the day was up against HyperGloryTeam, who placed second yesterday at the finals of i-League. Mineski has shown good plays throughout the series, tying at a 1 game win apiece.
Then they faced another Chinese team in the form of Dream Gaming. Great team plays and coordination allowed the Filipinos to roll over their the opposition, claiming the series two to nil.
Their last game was against Tongfu.WZ. The Chinese side got the upper hand, taking the series 2-0.
Mineski currently sits at sixth place with six points to their name, having played six out of their 15 games.
Mineski will face Big God tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. (GMT+8, Philippine Standard Time), followed by CDEC at 11:00 p.m. Both of these Chinese teams have performed strongly so far in the tournament.
