Philippine Dota 2 Teams Converge for Razer NeXT Season 3 Wave 2
This Thursday, the top teams from the Philippines who competed in the first wave of the Razer NeXT Season 3 online tournament will duke it out against the seeded teams in their respective conferences.
After a grueling whole-day affair, teams Skyville and Execration sat atop the standings in the Northern Conference while Team Barney and WAKE UP GIRL! conquered the Southern Conference. The four teams will face teams Minerva and Wargods.Ozine who are seeded for the Northern Conference bracket and teams Arcanys and Team Insight for the Southern Conference.
In what could be reminiscent of their epic matches at last year’s Mineski Pro Gaming League Season 6 play-offs rounds, Execration is poised to face southern powerhouse Arcanys Gaming. Execration will have to make their way past Razer NeXT mainstay teams Skyville and Minerva, as well as formidable Manila-based team Wargods.Ozine to reach the Arcanys.
Arcanys does not get a free pass however, as they still have to best their finals opponent in season 2, Team Insight from Bacolod. Relative newcomers in Team Barney and WAKE UP GIRL! are looking to upset their more experienced counterparts in the bracket in order to prove themselves in the Philippine Dota 2 scene.
With P10,000 in prizes to be given away, be sure to catch the action this Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015 at 7 p.m. till 11 p.m. for Wave 2 of the Razer NeXT Season 3!
