DreamLeague Asian Teams Announced!
The Asian teams that will be participating in DreamLeague Season 2 have been announced yesterday, in time for the kick-off of its second week.
Last week, it was Team Empire and Virtus Pro Polar who advanced into Phase 2 for the East Europe division. This week, DreamLeague will feature the newly added division with 4 of the best teams in the European region.
In the Asia Open Qualifiers, it was MVP.Phoenix who emerged victorious from the 65 teams who competed for the spot. Adding to the list of teams are Chinese heavyweights, Invictus Gaming and LGD Gaming. The former is known as the The International 2 (TI2) champion while the latter is considered a fierce contingent during TI 4. Rounding out the list is Team Malaysia, who placed third in TI 3.

UPDATE!
DreamLeague is happy to welcome Team Rave after Team Malaysia cancelled their participation in the tournament.
Rave posted on their facebook page the reason why Team Malaysia pulled out, stating stability concerns and an inability to play on China’s Perfect World server.
The kick-off match was between iG and MVP Phoenix, where iG bested MVP 2-1 in three best-of-one (Bo1) matches yesterday.
Upcoming matches are two best-of-one (Bo1) games.
21st of October:
LGD vs iG
LGD vs MVP Phoenix
22nd of Ocober:
Rave vs iG
Rave vs LGD
Since these matches are played on Perfect World servers, the organization has decided to cast all matches in replay.
In addition, Team Tinker secured a spot in the West Europe Division, dropping without a single game from 4Anchors in the winner’s bracket finals. Also, Complexity Gaming funneled their way through the American division by eliminating Wheel in the upper bracket finals. Winners of the lower brackets in each division will qualify for their respective regions.
