GameClub Releases Revised Weapon Restrictions For The 2015 Season

In a recent statement, Gameclub, the publishers of CrossFire Philippines have announced a different set of weapon restrictions for the numerous tournaments that are being held for the 2015 season.

Formerly, the types of weaponry that the players can use have been limited to the following:

FEATURED STORIES

Allowable Weapons (regular or default skins or versions only)

MG: M60
SMG: MP5, P90
Rifle: M4A1, AK47, AUG, SG552
Sniper: AWM
Shotgun: XM1014
Secondary: Colt1911, Desert Eagle
Melee: Knife. Combat Axe
Thrown: Grenade, Flashbang, Smoke

In the new ruleset, here are the weapons that are allowed for competitive play:

Local tournaments: All GP, ECoin, Lotto and VIP weapons
Crossfire Stars Regional Eliminations: All GP, ECoin and Lotto weapons
Crossfire Stars National Finals (stated below as follows):

MG: M60
SMG: MP5, P90
Rifle: M4A1, AK47, AUG, SG552
Sniper: AWM
Shotgun: XM1014
Secondary: Colt1911, Desert Eagle
Melee: all melee weapons
Thrown: Grenade, Flashbang, Smoke

(Note: Attachments such as scopes, knives and silencers are also allowed in the CFS National Finals)

With the addition of GP, ECoin, Lotto and VIP (also known as VVIP) weapons into the mix for all local tournaments, it is certain that these new rules will affect gameplay as teams try to figure out which setup best suits their needs. The new weapon rules are to be implemented immediately.

CrossFire is an online tactical FPS for the PC by South Korean developer, SmileGate. The game is currently the largest and bestselling FPS title in China, where it is published and distributed by Tencent.
