FEATURED STORIES

As for the match between Macta and NxA, the Manila-based squad made short work of NxA as they went off with a 2-0 sweep, thus making sure that the championship round of the first-ever Razer NeXT Crossfire Tournament was an all-Manila final.

The Final Match: Two Sides of The Same Coin

In the first map on Sub Base, Wara proved that experience counts as they took the map with a comfortable scoreline of 10-6; however, Macta’s boys in blue proved that they were more than a match for the oldies as they went on to take the next two maps in the form of Ankara and Black Widow.

Once the dust settled, Pacific.Macta secured P10,000 and the honor of becoming the first Razer NeXT Crossfire Tournament champion. Pacific.Wara received P5,000 for their valiant efforts.

Will the North continue their dominating run in the next edition of the tournament? Or will a team from the South clinch that trophy for the region?

All will be known when the qualifiers for the 2nd wave commence this coming May 9!

Here are the final results of the tournament:

1st place: Pacific.Macta = P10,000
2nd place: Pacific.Wara = P5,000
