Invictus Gaming, LGD tops DreamLeague Asia Division Phase One
Invictus Gaming and LGD will now proceed to phase two of the ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season 2.
During the round-robin stage, Invictus Gaming fought their way to the top with seven wins, dropping games only to MVP.Phoenix and LGD. They acquired the first slot to the phase two offline round-robin stage.
LGD, however climbed up the ladder and took the second place in the division, edging out Rave Gaming.
Final Standings:
Invictus Gaming: 7 wins, 2 losses
LGD: 6 wins, 3 losses
Rave: 4 wins, 5 losses
MVP.Phoenix: 1 wins, 8 losses
The regional group stage is not over yet, however, as qualified teams from North America (NA) and Western Europe will commence next week.
With over 100 teams registered and a dozen matches covered, the qualifier stage for the NA and Western European divisions has recently concluded, naming two teams to advance to phase one.
Without the presence of Natus Vincere.US, compLexity Gaming was dominant in the qualifier play-offs, acquiring the first spot in the NA division, dropping only one game against team Wheel.
In the lower bracket, it was the Sneaky Nyx Assassins who punched their way through for the final slot after recovering from an early loss in the qualifiers.

In the Western European division, it was Team Tinker who grabbed the first spot, with a flawless record in the upper bracket.
In the lower bracket, Team Secret was favored to advance considering their performances in previous tournaments, however it was 4 Anchors + Sea Captain (4ASC) who triumphed and stole the spot from the all-star team.
