Crossfire Stars 2015: The Philippine Road, Part 2

While everyone is focused on the action between the top-flight teams in the Razer NeXT CrossFire Tournament, the Mineski Rivals Series and the TNC Pro Cup, the regional eliminations for the Crossfire Stars 2015 National Finals continue, with MSIEvoGT grabbing the slot for the Batangas leg and VNDxKODA getting it for Davao.

This year’s tour will continue throughout the year, allowing teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have a chance to show their talents in front of huge crowds at various locations across the country. The qualifiers have a total prize pool of P450,000 divided into 15 stages.

The winner of the National Finals in October will earn the distinction of representing the country in the upcoming CrossFire Stars 2015 Global Finals, which will be announced at a later date.

Batangas: Hailing From The North

The third leg of the Crossfire Stars regional eliminations involved lots of good matches, including a 10-0 sweep by eventual 4th placer SPC Finest on their match against Divine in the second round of the bracket. At the end of the day, MSIEvoGT towered above the rest with a 2-0 result against Zenith Iloilo PH to get the ticket to the National Finals, while Instagamer ILO went 10-4 against SPC Finest in the third place decider match.

3rd place: Instagamer ILO
4th place: SPC Finest

Davao: Mindanao’s Second Hope

While their fellow Mindanaoans from Cagayan De Oro in the form of TNC Pro Team took the first slot, the Davaoenos are not to be left behind as they showcased their fragging talents in the Davao leg of the Crossfire Stars 2015 regional eliminations. VNDxKODA emerged with a 2-0 clean sweep against Vigos Strategy in the grand finals, taking the slot to the National Finals.  Meanwhile, oOHasleftOo-CCT has dominated over Vigos Sanity with a 10-5 scoreline in order to take third place.
