With 96 squads joining from all over the country, the qualifier stage of the third wave of the Razer NeXT Crossfire tournament has concluded with three teams rising to the challenge in order to gain their spots in their respective conferences.

For this wave, the qualifier stage included Black Widow, Port, Sub Base and Mexico. All of these maps are part of the standard competitive map pool for the 2015 season.

Northern Conference: The Manila Show

For the Northern Conference, Macta Infirma 2 and MSIEvoGT from Manila will face Pacific.Wara and Pacific.Macta in the group stage. This is the first time in the history of the tournament that it has become an all-Manila conference, with Strategic AC Gaming and Terrovania making their respective appearances in the previous waves.

In addition, it is also the second time that MSIEvoGT breaks through to the round robin bracket, which gives them another chance to make their mark by getting to the finals.

The former roster of MSIEvoGT is famous for bringing back a bronze and silver medal in the CrossFire category to the Philippines during the 2012 and 2013 editions of the World Cyber Games, respectively.

Southern Conference: Homecoming

Meanwhile, for the Southern Conference, Wattsking (former NxA) beats oOHasLeftOo with a very convincing scoreline of 10-1 in order to join HL.Decapitatorz and HASLEFTCebu (former Spammers) in the next stage of the tournament. As for the match between iFive from Bacolod and nAoGaming from Cebu, they will fight for the right to get the last slot of the Southern Conference group stage on a later date due to time constraints.

Will it be an all-Cebu conference once again? Or will Bacolod be able to field a team for the second time in the group?

The four qualifying teams will earn P2,000 in cash as well as a chance to earn another P1,500 in their pockets and a slot in their respective Conference Finals in the next stage of the tournament.

Mark your calendars as the action continues once again when the group stage commences on Sunday, June 14!
