The International Groups Revealed
Only a week left before The International kicks off and Valve has released the bracket groupings for the group stages earlier today.
The group stages will have a Best-of-Two series format that may reward a maximum of three points and a minimum of zero point per series. One point will be given to a tied series.
The teams that will win the Wild Card slots will be decided on July 26, 2015. Group stages will begin on July 27 through July 30. After the group Stages, the top four for teams from each bracket will be placed in the upper group while the bottom four will be placed in the lower bracket. The Main Event will begin on August 3 through August 8, 2015.
The record smashing prize pool of The International 5 ensures the financial security of each team regardless of their standing in the main event.

A Murderer’s Row
Group A, commonly referred among fans as the “Group of Death”, will feature some of the strongest teams from the west. Tournament favorites, Team Secret, are expected to do well in their bracket, but joining them are former champions Natus Vincere and Invictus Gaming.
But Group B is shaping up to be an even tougher group as most of the teams participating in the division are highly-competitive teams along the same power level. American powerhouse team Evil Geniuses are joined by Chinese super-team Vici Gaming. Rounding out the groups are two strong central European teams in Empire and Virtus Pro.
While Secret, Na’Vi and Invictus Gaming are expected to do well in Group A, it’s a toss up as to who will perform the best in Group B.
